A skip full of old fencing and timber sits on your drive for a week, costs £250–£400 before you have loaded it, and still needs a council permit if it goes on the road. Our van turns up, we load the wood waste ourselves, and it is gone the same day where we can. No permit, no waiting for a wagon, and nobody else’s rubbish in your load.
We collect wood waste from homes, gardens, building sites and workshops across Cardiff and the whole of South Wales. Timber, pallets, MDF, chipboard, fencing, decking, sheds, scaffold boards, joinery offcuts — if it is made of wood and needs to disappear, send a photo and we will quote a flat price.

What we take
What counts as wood waste
If it is made of wood and you no longer want it, it probably counts — and we take it in mixed loads with general rubbish too. Wood waste removal in Cardiff and wood waste collection across South Wales are the same job in the same van.
Wood is one of the easiest materials to recycle, so none of it needs to rot in landfill. We sort every load at licensed facilities: clean timber goes for chipping and reclamation, and treated or painted wood goes through its own recycling stream. Pallets often get re-used whole. Whatever your load contains, the wood gets recycled rather than buried.
Most wood waste arrives mixed with everything else: the old decking lands on the shed, and the shed lands on the general rubbish. That is fine by us — we take it all in one van, at one flat price, and sort it at the other end.

Wood waste removal — your questions answered
What wood waste do you take?
Fence panels, pallets, decking, joists, skirting, floorboards, doors, MDF, chipboard, plywood, construction timber and joinery offcuts. Treated and painted wood is fine — we separate it for the right recycling stream.
Can you take mixed loads of wood and general waste?
Yes. A typical clear-out mixes timber with furniture, packaging and general rubbish, and we take it all in the same van for one flat price by the van load.
Is it cheaper than hiring a skip?
Almost always. A skip costs £250–£400 before you have loaded a single fence panel, plus a council permit if it sits on the road — and you do all the loading. We start at £160 for a quarter load, loading and sweeping included.
Do you take wood from garden clearances too?
Yes. Fence panels, shed timber, decking, branches and tree prunings go on our garden waste rates at £80, £140 and £250 — we will quote whichever applies to your load.
Do you offer trade rates for builders and joiners?
Yes. If you have regular wood waste or site waste, we agree a rate rather than pricing each visit, and invoice monthly instead of taking payment on the day.
Is there a weight limit per load?
Our vans carry up to 1.1 tonnes. Wood is light for its size, so timber loads almost never hit the limit — but very heavy hardwood or saturated timber can, and we will tell you that up front rather than on the day.
Trade rates, and the two things we cannot take
If you are a builder, joiner or workshop producing wood waste regularly, we will agree a rate rather than pricing each visit, and invoice monthly. Most of the trades we work with in Cardiff and Newport ring the day before and we slot it in.
The two things we cannot take are fridges and asbestos. Anything you suspect is asbestos — old artex, garage roof sheets, some floor tiles — needs a licensed asbestos contractor, not us. Send a photo if you are unsure and we will tell you straight.
