Cheaper than a skip, and no permit to wait for
A skip on a Cardiff street needs a permit from the council, sits there taking a parking space, and gets filled overnight by whoever walks past. Our van turns up, gets loaded by us, and leaves. No permit, no waiting for a wagon, and nobody else’s rubbish in your load.
We take rubble off site during a build as well as at the end of one. Plenty of the trades we work with have us back every few days rather than hiring a skip for the whole job, because a van you can call on Tuesday is more use than a skip you paid for on Monday.

What it costs
By the van load, same as everything else. Our vans carry up to 1.1 tonnes, which for rubble matters more than the cubic yards — a van full of brick weighs a great deal more than a van full of sofas.

Trade rates, and the two things we cannot take
If you are on site regularly we will agree a rate rather than pricing each visit, and invoice monthly. Most of the builders we work with in Cardiff and Newport ring the day before and we slot it in.
The two things we cannot take are fridges and asbestos. Anything you suspect is asbestos — old artex, garage roof sheets, some floor tiles — needs a licensed asbestos contractor, not us. Send a photo if you are unsure and we will tell you straight.
