What a house clearance with us involves
Most of the house clearances we do in Cardiff and Newport fall into one of three situations: someone has died and the family needs the property emptied, a tenancy has ended and the landlord needs it back, or someone is downsizing after thirty years in the same house. All three are easier when you are not also hiring a skip and filling it yourself.
Two of us turn up and we do all the lifting. Beds and wardrobes are dismantled on the spot. Nothing needs dragging to the kerb first — that is what you are paying us for. Everything goes to a licensed transfer station, and we will send you the waste transfer note if you want it for your records.

Prices
What a house clearance costs
Priced by how much of the van it fills — not by the hour, and not by weight. Our vans hold 16 cubic yards, about 1.5× a tipper, so a clearance that would be two loads elsewhere is often one load with us.

Probate and end-of-tenancy clearances
Clearing a parent’s house is not a normal job and we do not treat it like one. We work through room by room, we put anything that looks like paperwork, photographs or jewellery to one side rather than binning it, and we stop and ask if we are unsure about something.
For letting agents and landlords, we can work to a deadline between tenancies, handle keys whichever way suits, and invoice monthly rather than take payment on the day if you use us regularly.
