Garden waste costs less than general waste
Green waste costs us less to dispose of than mixed household rubbish, so we charge less for it. A quarter van of garden waste is £80 against £160 for general waste, and a full van is £250 against £450. If the load is genuinely garden waste, that is what you pay.
It does not need to be bagged and it does not need to be at the front. Most of the garden jobs we do in Cardiff are a pile at the bottom of the garden that has been growing since spring, and we carry it out through the house or the side gate ourselves.

Sheds, decking and fence panels
A rotten shed is the job people put off longest, because it is a day of work and a car boot will not touch it. We take it apart, load the panels and the felt, sweep the base, and take the lot in one go.
Decking and fencing are the same. Old panels, posts still set in concrete, decking boards and joists all go in the van. If the concrete is still on the post, that is fine — it goes in as it is.
